We fully appreciate that a parent’s primary focus in choosing any childcare is the welfare of their child. At Homeland Day Nursery we make every effort to ensure that our nursery is a safe and positive place for children. We promote the welfare of every child in our care, at every stage of their development, ensuring that everyone in the “Homeland Family” has a truly positive experience.

Homeland proves a spacious and fun learning environment where we ensure all children feel comfortable and happy in their surroundings.

Here at Homeland we have a fantastic and secure outdoor area. We have a large sheltered outdoor space, hard play area and a beautiful grassed area too! Children need to access to the outside area every day and here at Homeland come rain or shine they are able to! We have planting troughs for the children, a mud kitchen, large sand pit, climbing frame and slide, sound wall, large wooden blocks and much more.

Staff are qualified and first aid trained. Core staff have been working at the nursery for many years, some over 20 years.

Each child is assigned a key carer, giving parents confidence that even though we have a team of staff, there is an individual responsible for monitoring the development of your child. Key carers, through their observations can see what children enjoy and where their next steps are needed.

We follow a 3-week rotational menu providing delicious, nutritious and freshly prepared meals on site and we also have a healthy snack menu. The heathy menu can be adapted to suit any individual needs.

Children are always reminded about staying healthy and the importance of hand washing before meal times and snack times.
